The NV Cuvee has a clear appearance, pale straw tones,with a refined mousse and lasting bead. The bouquet is clean, fresh, tropical and citrus fruit aromas with suggestions of green bean and bread dough. On the palate crisp and lively with lifted fresh fruit flavours of zesty citrus and lemon over more developed notes of green melon, broad bean and baked bread. The fruit components are well balanced with the more complex characters resulting in a celebration style with engaging vitality. Serve with: Gougeres with anchovies, Oysters any style or Twice cooked mushroom souffle.

The 2016 Sauvignon Blanc is clear, pale with lime/lemon accents. The bouquet has clean fresh aromas of lemon citrus kiwifruit and Granny Smith apple. Clean, zesty, dry style with abundant lifted, fresh fruit characters of Kiwi/Fejoa with lemon and lime to add a lively edge. Well balanced acid completes the palate structure supporting the cooler style that is achievable with the vineyard's location and being harvested in the cool of the night to maintain quality. Serve with Zucchini, asparagus, peas and ricotta salata salad, Kaffir lime and lemon grass chicken or Soba noodles with tuna and black sesame seeds.
Fresh, clean with lifted fruit flavours of white peach, lemon citrus, melon and green bean with some exciting developed creamy accents. A small portion of this wine has had some oak maturation with the majority fermented in stainless steel to highlight the balance of freshness with an element of complexity, making for increased food pairing options. Drinking well and will continue to develop. Serve with Chickpea and summer vegetable salad, Poached trout with cucumber yoghurt salad or Roast chicken, walnut and grape salad with blue cheese dressing.
This wine is pale straw in colour with lemon tints. Bouquet of lifted aromas of passionfruit, lemon/lime and Granny Smith apple. Clean, luscious, elevated fruit characters of passionfruit, lychee and fresh green fruit with an element of lively acid, ensuring balance and length of mouth-feel. Hints of gooseberry and lime extending the crisp lean finish. Recommended to be served well chilled. Serve with mild aromatic curry, Fresh fruit with matured cheese or tropical fruit salad.
Clear, ruby/garnet of medium intensity. Fragrant and lifted aromas of mixed toasted spice and gingerbread combine with the berry and cherry fruit to provide lovely complexity. The spicy flavours flow to the palate with some savoury notes as well as dark ripe brooding fruit characters. The flavour lingers with silky and rounded tannins. Serve with Antipasta pasta platter, Mustard and sage pork cutlets with red wine cabbage.
Clean, deep ruby red in colour. Clean ripe plum and dark berry fruits, along with woody herbs, dried autumn leaves, violets and a touch of spice/vanilla from the oak maturation. Rich mouth filling plummy fruit, dark chocolate with plush mid-palate fruit and soft, fine tannins. The oak is well integrated and supports the rich fruit flavours while adding complexity. Serve with Duck rilletes with piccalilli, braised goat ragu or game pie.

Hugo Reserve Grenache 2012, 100% Estate, dry grown. Colour is clear, intense ruby/purple and the aroma is showing complex, lifted ripe raspberry and black currant aromas with accents that touch on the earthy chronicle of this style. Volumes of soft, rich cherry and blueberry fruit characters, enhanced by minted dark chocolate and white pepper throughout. A clean, intense, full-flavoured dry red produced from individually selected barrels of 62 year old dry grown bush vine fruit sourced from the original plantings on the Hugo Estate. An excellent wine that is drinking well. We recommend decanting to show this Grenache at it's best.

Our Grand Tawny is golden russet in colour with tinges of green. The bouquet offers lifted notes of raisins, plums and some savouriness, with an attractive nutty aroma. Serve with Whisky, chocolate and hazelnut cake, Melon and tawny with spiced honey vodka and cinnamon yoghurt, or blue cheese and macadamia nuts.
The 2013 Shiraz Clear, maroon/ruby with bright lilac tints. Aromas of plum, black cherry and red currant with lifted black peper, cloves and soft liquorice, exposing a hint of leather. Fresh, bright fruit characters of ripe raspberry, Satsuma plum and cherry supported by a myriad of spices with elegant balanced tannins anda lingering warm finish.
The liveliness of the fruit accentuates the overall intensity and depth of flavour this variety is known for.
The 2008 Shiraz is clear, with deep red/blue hues with appealing shades of plum and indigo and a bouquet of attractive lifted plum and spice characters with just a suggestion of silky vanilla oak. Serve with Comfort food, Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, Lamb shank and faro perlato broth, oxtail roasted carrots and fettucine or just cosy up with some tasty cheeses and dried fruit.
